DESCRIPTION

In this lesson I’ll be giving you some INSTANT guitar progress with the way you play scales.

If you want to get better at guitar, the first thing you need to do is change the way you play the scales that you learn. Just because you can play a scale right now doesn’t yet mean that you can make music with it.

Unfortunately, many guitar players get stuck in the habit of just playing scales up and down the same way, and it comes back to bite them later on when they try to create their own solos.

Sometimes the best way to have guitar progress and get better at guitar is to take what you already know and change things up a bit.

In this lesson I will break down for you an exercise that will simply adjust the order of the notes you play in the most popular scale patterns and you will immediately see and hear the difference.

This exercise can even be used creatively, as it sounds different enough that you can (and should) use it outside of just practicing guitar.
